
Team physician to U of T varsity athletes and the Pan American Games.
Dr. Manis is a team physician at the University of Toronto, caring for varsity athletes and students, and has served as a team physician for the Brampton Beast of the ECHL. His wider sports medicine experience includes the 2015 Pan American Games, Canada’s junior men’s national basketball teams, the World Junior Hockey Championship, and the Rogers Cup.
He earned his MD at Université Laval, completed Family Medicine residency at McGill University, and a fellowship in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Toronto. He holds hospital privileges at St Joseph’s Health Centre and specializes in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal injuries and concussion care. He provides care in English and French.
