Ashim is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stem Health and of Stem Capital, and was previously President of Medcan and President of Medavie Blue Cross. His earlier roles include Chief Human Resources Officer at Sobeys and Chair and CEO of Aon Consulting in Canada, following positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance, Allianz Life, and KPMG Canada.
He has chaired the board of the Human Resources Professionals Association and served on the board of Russell Investments. He holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Tufts’ Fletcher School, a Rotman MBA, and the ICD.D designation, and is the author of reference works on group insurance benefits and global health care systems.
