Erik is the founder and chief executive of Manifold, which uses machine learning to help field teams capture on-site conditions from mobile devices, and of Origami XR, a virtual and augmented reality company. His healthcare experience includes work as a virtual reality research consultant at University Health Network, designing VR software for rehabilitation.
Earlier in his career he was the first developer and system architect at IndieGoGo, and a business analyst and project manager at Goldman Sachs, leading high-risk trading-system implementations across New York, London, and Tokyo. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering, and has served as a Scientist in Residence at NEXT AI and an adjunct professor at Sheridan College.
